Panos was born in Toronto, Canada, raised in Athens, Greece, and emigrated to the United States at the age of 18. Early careers in the Food & Beverage industry and Construction industry helped to develop a strong foundation in business and operations management. Moving into the world of Security, Surveillance and Audio/Video intrigued Panos and encouraged him to go out on his own and open Audio Video Invasion (AVI).

AVI has grown from a 3-man team operating out of a garage in 2006, to an established Control4 award-winning automation company (Platinum Premier yearly since 2008 and North East Region Top Volume Dealer 2010, 2011), with fourteen employees and over 3 million dollars in annual sales. Panos surrounds himself with people that are honest, dedicated, and passionate about excellence in everything they do. This formula has earned Panos the reputation of being a trustworthy man of-his-word within the AV circle, and is respected by everyone who interacts with Panos or AVI team members.  While many other AV companies promise clients whatever they want to hear in order to get the sale, Panos will be a straight-shooter and all of his clients are grateful for his honesty and caring.

Besides being an A/V enthusiast and constant learner regarding industry changes, Panos loves entertaining friends and family, auto racing, and spending quiet time with his wife, Christina, and dog, Buddy.

Included in our business plan is a CEDIA certified outreach program, to teach industry members (Continuing Education Credits – at no charge to them) about such topics as automation integration, lighting control, and home theater design.
